Our farm is located in the heart of the historic rice-belt region of Georgetown County, South Carolina, which has been famous for rice harvesting since the 18th century. The rice is harvested on natural and mineral-rich peaty fields with fresh river water that enhances the taste and gives an incomparable aroma. Per Dr David Shield who is Chairman of The Carolina Gold Rice Foundation, In the late 20th century Americans turned to aromatic rice.
