I bought this thinking it would be more of a fennel-forward spice, but the anise flavor is pretty strong. It’s nice, just different from what I thought. I’ll use it in baking and see how it goes!

Not impressed, flavor was off
I don’t know if I got a bad batch, but the flavor of this powder was pretty off when I tried it in my recipe. It didn’t taste fresh, and I ended up tossing it. Disappointing!

Great seasoning for soups and stews!
