The Original Name Was Supposed To Read &Ldquo;Black Rose&Rdquo; But The Printer Misinterpreted And Printed The Label As &Ldquo;Crows&Rdquo;.'' Crows Faded In And Out Of The Market And It Wasn'T Until 1972 That The Brand Was Acquired By Tootsie Roll Industries. Over A Hundred And Fifteen Year Have Passed But The Classic Licorice Flavored Black Gumdrops Remain One Of The Oldest, And Beloved, Retro Candies.&Nbsp;Kosher Certified
