Excellent for the preparation of recipes such as sauces for pasta or meat and also excellent with fish. Trapani sea salt capers cultivated in Pantelleria, dark green in color. Intense aromatic taste, high content of vitamins A, C, and B. Capers are the unopened flower buds of a Mediterranean bush. The caper bush is distantly related to the cabbage family, and has its pungent sulfur compounds. Capers are a great accent to create sour-salty flavor in a dish, especially in sauces, dishes and with fish. Salt-packed capers are known for being less onion, radish aromas and more floral, violets and raspberries. Frantoi Cutrera is known for their olive oil. Their farm has been operating olive groves and processing oil and olives since 1906 in South Eastern Sicily. They also offer a wide variety of jams, herbs, and salts all grown in the same region.
