Our Green Coffee Beans Are Exported Directly To Our Texas Roasting Facility Where It Is Drum Roasted In Small Batches Using Profiles Carefully Developed For Our Medium Bodied Coffee. With Low Acidity, The Coffee Boasts Smooth, Sweet Characteristics And Citrus Notes. Primos Coffee Company Never Blends Our Coffee With Others Thereby Maintaining Its Unique Qualities. The Coffee Has Been Dark Roasted Also Known As Full City Or Light French Roast. The Roast Flavors Dominate The Origin Flavors Of The Beans. After Roasting, The Beans Were Coarsely Ground. Frequently Asked Questions

  • Q: What makes Primos Coffee Co's French Press coffee special? A: Primos Coffee Co's French Press coffee is crafted from premium Arabica beans sourced from the best micro-lots on a fourth generation family farm in Nicaragua. The coffee is dark roasted to enhance bold flavors while maintaining a smooth, low-acidity profile, ensuring a delightful cup every time.
  • Q: How should I brew Primos Coffee using a French Press? A: For optimal results, use coarsely ground Primos Coffee beans. Add about 1 ounce of coffee for every 15 ounces of water. Pour hot water over the grounds, let it steep for about 4 minutes, then press the plunger down slowly to separate the grounds from the brewed coffee.
  • Q: Is this coffee suitable for people with a sensitive stomach? A: Yes, Primos Coffee is low in acidity, making it a great choice for those with sensitive stomachs. The smooth and sweet characteristics, along with the natural citrus notes, provide a flavorful experience without the harshness often associated with high-acidity coffees.
  • Q: What should I know about the sourcing of Primos Coffee? A: Primos Coffee is sourced sustainably from high-grown Arabica beans in Jinotega, Nicaragua. The coffee is harvested by hand and processed using environmentally friendly methods, ensuring that both the quality of the coffee and the welfare of the local community are prioritized.
  • Q: How does the coarsely ground coffee affect the brewing process? A: Coarsely ground coffee is ideal for French Press brewing, as it allows for a longer extraction time without resulting in bitterness. This grind size facilitates a smoother flavor profile and prevents fine particles from passing through the filter, resulting in a cleaner cup.
