Product Description
History & Mouth Feeling Alishan tea, also called Gaoshan tea, it is a high mountain oolong tea grown in the central mountains of Taiwan. It is a slow growing tea and is harvested only twice a year. Our Taiwan Alishan tea, it has a deep and complex flavor profile, also has a floral and slightly sweet taste to it. The texture is light and a hont of honey on the tongue. This tea is great for multiple infusions and will keep its flavor long after the first steep. How to brew the alishan oolong tea? Warm up the teapot with boiling water, put about 1-2 Tsp gaoshan tea loose leaf, pour a small amount of boiling water into the tea, and immediately pour out. This helps to damp tea leaves, wash and help them to start steeping. After that pour 8 fl.oz of boiling water which is about 85-95C (185-205F) and cover the teapot for 3-5 minutes, and then enjoy.
