Product Description
Delicious and nutritious organic brown jasmine rice.
Try something new tonight by substituting this organic brown jasmine rice for your usual rice! It'll satisfy not only your taste buds, but your health too by providing more fiber and protein than white rice, and with its help in controlling blood glucose. For the perfect stir fry, just cook it up and spice it to your taste! Yum-my!
Instructions: Rinse rice thoroughly with cool water. Combine 2 cups of water with 1 cup of rice. If desired, add salt or olive oil. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low simmer, then cover. Leave covered and simmer for 45 minutes. At the end of the cook time, check if rice is chewy and tender, and no longer crunchy. If it is still crunchy, add a little more water if needed and continue cooking. Check every 10 minutes until the rice is done. Once done, remove rice from heat and let stand for 10 to 15 minutes. Fluff with fork before serving.
Note: When cooked, rice will appear significantly lighter in color
