Furikake is Japanese rice seasoning (furi means shake and kake means sprinkle), which comes in many varieties. This blend includes Shaved Bonito, Sesame Seed, Sugar, Salt, Soy Sauce (Water, Soy Bean, Wheat, Salt) and Seaweed. Sprinkle over plain rice, omelets, miso soup, or salads, for an interesting oceanic twist.
These 1.7-ounce jars of furikake are perfect for adding to my rice bowls. They stay fresh and flavorful, though I did find the packaging a bit bulky for my pantry. Still, worth the price!

I've been using the JFC Katsuo Fumi furikake on my rice and it's simply delicious. The umami flavor really elevates my plain dishes. Plus, the pack of 4 means I won't run out anytime soon!

I've tried various furikake before, but JFC Katsuo Fumi is my favorite! It's so flavorful and the jars are easy to store. Just sprinkle a little on your rice and you're set!

Mixed feelings on this one
The furikake is decent, but I was surprised by how much sodium it has. I love the flavor, but I wish it wasn’t so salty. Good for occasional use, I guess.
