These yellow split peas from Laxmi are pretty good, but I had a little trouble getting them to cook evenly at first. After a few tries, I found soaking them helped a lot. They have a nice flavor, just be ready for some trial and error in the kitchen!

I bought the Laxmi yellow split peas to make some traditional Indian dals, and they turned out delicious! The 4lb bag is a good size and they cooked up perfectly in just about 30 minutes. Definitely a staple in my kitchen now!

Disappointed with the quality
I was excited to try these yellow split peas, but when I opened the bag, some of the peas were discolored and a few were broken. They cooked okay, but I expected better from Laxmi. Probably won't buy again.
