The distinctive tart flavor of Nellie & Joes rich and smooth Key West Lemon Juice has long been used to prepare sumptuous lemon pies, tarts and other citrus delicacies. Try it also as a fresh, clean marinade for seafood, meat and poultry and as a key ingredient in soups, dressings and sauces. This key lime juice is from concentrate, but it is made with 100% Key Limes from Key West, Florida. It comes in a 16 ounce bottle, which gives you more than enough juice for 3 or 4 key lime pies. The juice looks and smells very fresh, and the very bright and slightly bitter key lime flavor is unmistakable, Limes were abundant in the Keys at that time and once the lime juice was added to the egg yolks and milk, the mixture would begin to thicken or set.
