This 2 ounce jar of Food Grade Pectic Enzyme from North Mountain Supply is a must-have for home winemakers and cider makers. Added to fruit must it breaks down natural pectins to improve juice yield pressing efficiency and overall clarity. In red g must it also helps extract tannins and color for better structure and depth.Packaged in a tamper-evident airtight plastic jar to help maintain freshness and potency. Use 1/2 teaspoon per gallon of must for most wine and cider making needs. For best results dissolve the enzyme in a small amount of room-temperature water and mix thoroughly into the must before fermentation.Important Usage Note: Always follow dosage guidelines for your specific recipe and process. This product is intended for food and beverage preparation only. If accidental ingestion of large amounts or any adverse reaction occurs discontinue use and seek appropriate medical attention.
