I was looking for a strong coconut flavor, but this oil is too refined for that. It works fine for cooking, just not what I wanted for my tropical recipes. I guess I should’ve read more about steam refined oils.

Great Versatility for Baking
Nutiva’s steam refined coconut oil is awesome for both baking and cooking. I appreciate that it doesn’t have a strong coconut taste, which lets my other ingredients shine. The large size is perfect for my baking needs!

Good Oil, but Packaging Issues
The coconut oil itself is excellent but the packaging had some dents when it arrived. I was worried about leaks, but fortunately, it was fine. The oil is versatile for baking and sautéing, just wish the delivery was smoother.
