Oro di Milas Extra Virgin Olive Oil is the result of a great passion for olive trees and their precious juice, as well as female entrepreneurship. Owner Emine Colin, born and raised in Istanbul, returned to her homeland after a long, exciting career in the Unites States. When she met her husband Mark, he inspired her to reconnect to her Turkish heritage. They traveled around, found a property with neglected olive trees, and put their roots down deep. They now produce a world-class extra virgin olive oil on their land and in addition to employing many women in their company, they participate in education and empowerment initiatives for female entrepreneurs in Trkiye.
