These pie weights are your great helper for blind baking, prevent pie crust or other pastry from shrinking or forming bubbles while baking, easy to place and arrange as needed. Just place baking parchment paper on the pie crust and pour on enough weights, then bake as usual, no more big air bubbles, only perfectly smooth crust ready for its filling. All reusable and easy to clean, approx 2.2Lb/1000g, includes eco-friendly, food grade wheat straw convenient container. Heat resistant up to 600?, possesses robust thermal stability, will not break easily under high temperature baking, they are durable for years. How to use and clean: 1 Line the pie crust or pastry with baking parchment paper, fill with enough pie weights before baking.2 Bake in a preheated oven at 400? until the edges of the crust are starting to brown, then remove the crust from the oven.3 Remove the weights out of the pie, return the pie crust to the oven to let it crisp up and cook through. 4 Wash the pie weights after cool down with clean water by hand, detergent should be used if the weights are sticked with oil.
