Originally native to southwest Asia, Allium cepa is no longer found wild, but is grown throughout the world as a biennial vegetable. The top onion producers today are China, India, the former Soviet Union and the United States -- particularly California, Texas and Oregon.
Best uses: Use in seasoning blends, dips, sauces and meats as well as canned and frozen foods. Use 1 tablespoon onion granules in place of one fresh onion.
Features: - 2.21 glass bottle - Organic certified, kosher certified, non-irradiated - High-quality minced onions - A time-saving alternative to raw onions - Botanical name: Allium cepa
I've been using Simply Organic minced white onion in my cooking for a few weeks now. The flavor is fantastic, and it's so convenient to have on hand. The 2.21 oz jars are just the right size for my needs, plus they're certified organic, which is a big plus for me!

Solid product, but a little pricey
The minced white onion from Simply Organic is definitely high quality and organic, but I felt like I paid a bit much for the pack of 4. They do last a while and taste fresh, but I wish it came in a larger size or for a better price. Still, I enjoy using them in my recipes!

Arrived damaged, but flavor is good
I was disappointed when the package of Simply Organic minced onions arrived with one jar broken. The flavor of the onion is really good, but I had to deal with the hassle of a return. Hopefully, the next pack will be in better condition!
