Every June, the Walkers get together for a family reunion and a Cajun fish fry. So it was only natural that we create “Slap Ya Mama” Cajun Fish Fry for the event.
I bought this for our Friday fish fry nights and it’s become a staple! The Cajun flavor really enhances the fish and everyone loves it. 12 oz is a nice size to keep on hand too.

Not as spicy as expected
While I enjoyed the seasoning, I found it wasn't as spicy as I thought it would be. The flavor is good but if you’re looking for a kick, you might need to add some extra spice to it. Still, it works well for fryin'.

Love this seasoning!
Slap Ya Mama is my go-to for all things fried. It really elevates the taste of fish and even chicken. My only complaint is that it could use a little more salt, but I still keep buying it.

Disappointing packaging
The seasoning itself is great, but my package arrived with a dented lid and some seasoning spilled out. I contacted customer service and they were helpful, but it was annoying to have to deal with that.

Lost flavor after a while
I was really excited to try this, but after a couple of weeks of having it opened, it seemed to lose its flavor. It's a decent seasoning, just wish it kept its kick longer!
