Refined cooking oils have a bland, neutral flavor because theyve been bleached and deodorized with chemicals. In contrast, our sunflower oil is cold-pressed and unrefined-this means no heat or chemicals are used in processing, preserving the distinctive flavor and nutritional content. If you notice a white layer at the bottom of the bottle, its completely normal! Its a natural wax that comes from the layer in between the sunflower seed and the sunflower kernel, and its completely safe to eat. The layer can form if the bottle has sat for a bit, so all you need to do is shake the bottle to get it reincorporated.
